Program Profile
Tsinghua University and Singapore Management University integrate and leverage the discipline resources in financial accounting from both sides and provide outstanding faculty for the program. Students who complete the program will receive a Master’s degree in accounting from Tsinghua University and a Master’s degree of Science in CFO Leadership from Singapore Management University.

To develop students’ global vision, the program offers overseas courses, exchange programs and lectures from world-class scholars and leaders of the world’s top 500 companies. Taking the advantages of Tsinghua SEM’s platform, students can frequently participate in face-to-face interaction with elite entrepreneurs, scholars, and officials from China and abroad.

Depth of Accounting with Quality Practice
The curriculum focuses on improving the comprehensive ability of financial managers, reshaping and enriching their knowledge system of financial management. The courses combine academic activities with professional practice, regularly invite senior figures from government departments such as finance, taxation, auditing and regulatory agencies to lecture, and industry mentors to share personal experiences and advice.

CFO Forums
The forums leverage the leading advantages and rich resources in accounting and financial management disciplines, the forum invites industry elites, academic leaders and government officials to discuss current hotspots, looking into future development and exploring “corporate transformation and new CFO thinking in the new economic era”.

Qingxinhui CFO Salons
The salons provide a platform for Tsinghua alumni, students and candidates to interact with faculty and industry professionals, while gathering those interested minds from the field of finance and industry to spark new ideas in discussion.

The lectures invite senior professionals in accounting and related fields to interact with students closely, enabling them to deeply understand the application and practice of accounting-related knowledge in various business fields and helping with their career development.

Visits to Corporates
In-person visits to corporates help students gain a in-depth understanding of the application of accounting-related knowledge in business, enterprise operation, the latest industry development and the industry-finance integration of industry and finance, etc.
International Vision
To develop students’ global vision and understanding of financial management in developed countries, the program provides students with overseas visiting during their study.

Target Students
Vice President of Finance, CFO, General Manager of Finance and other financial leaders, as well as financial seniors, executives and decision makers in the financial industry who wish to receive in-depth education of finance management.

Degree
Students who complete the program will receive a Master’s degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University and a Master’s degree of Science in CFO Leadership from Singapore Management University.

Admission
International applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding foreign passports, healthy, virtuous, and willing to comply with Chinese laws and Tsinghua regulations.
The applicant should have a degree equivalent to Chinese mainland’ bachelor’s degree or a higher degree. Applicants with academic qualifications from foreign educational institutions must be certified by the overseas study Service Center of the Ministry of Education of China (CSCSE).
Before our program’s admission in 2023, applicants with a bachelor's shall have five-year working experience at minimum, applicants with a master's degree or doctor's degree should have three-year working experience at minumum.

For international students, we will admit the most outstanding candidates. (Please refer the admission guide.)

Study Form
The program is part-time and offer a 4-day course session (from Thursday to Sunday) each month, mostly at Tsinghua and some at Singapore Management University. No accommodation is provided.
The expected length of study is 2 years, including 18 months for course taking and 6 months for thesis writing.

Tuition Fee
Total 358,000 RMB, 250,600 RMB for Tsinghua courses and 107,400 RMB for Singapore Management University.
