Domestic Powerhouse , Global Excellence

The economic environment of global integration has seen the rise of global competency as a necessary field of proficiency for today’s business leaders, and plays a foundational role in education at Tsinghua University. The Applied Master programs develop global competency through double major programs and student exchange with elite overseas universities, thereby strengthening our students’ knowledge base and broadening their international horizons. International cooperation with elite universities worldwide operates at a program level, eschewing piecemeal cooperation for a unified syllabus and integrated campus that only organic collaboration can offer. This fully integrated approach provides the basis for improving our students' comprehensive competency, global vision, and innovation.

Master of Finance (MoF)and Master in Management (MiM) programs established double major programs with Paris HEC and the Hass Business School at the University of California Berkeley in 2012-2013. Successful completion of the jointly designed curriculum enables degree candidates  to obtain degrees from both institutions. Tsinghua-Columbia Dual Masters's Degree Program in Business Analytics emphasizes double major education, and students who successfully complete the requirements of Tsinghua University and Columbia University may obtain degrees from both schools. Since 2011, over 260 applied master program students have participated in our overseas programs with more than 100 universities and institutes of higher education in over 20 countries and regions. As a domestic powerhouse, Tsinghua SEM realizes global excellence through a critical emphasis on diversity and a multicultural educational environment.
